Here's a picture about a difference I noticed between riveted wheels vs. welded. If you look at the wheel on the left (riveted wheel) in the red circle you can see that the vent holes go almost to the bend where the center starts. The one on the right is more sloped and the vent holes don't go...
I am watching Mecum's auction, and wonder if anyone here owns the Harley Davidson bobber that I just saw? It was black and orange and was pulling a 105. It went to $9600 but didn't meet the reserve.

I am reinstalling the differential on my deuce, and need a link to the proper TM. Can anybody help me out?
Specifically I need to know how to set up the carrier preload.

I was under the impression that the rockwell axles were pretty much bullet proof, so needless to say I was upset when I twisted the spider gears out of mine the other day.
I have the third member pulled but don't have it apart yet, but I did find about a hand full of shrapnel (gear teeth and...
2 months or so ago I did some welding with a metal watch band. I was changing the main power switch on the deuce and had my hand up in the dash when all of a sudden... CRACK!! SIZZLE!! Good-bye twist-o-flex, hello smoke! I caught the watch on the heater switch and commenced to lay the prettiest...

Hi guys, I need some info. I need to lengthen a torque rod about 5" to use on a bobbed deuce for axle wrap prevention. Any ideas? I can gas weld and braze. I also have a mig welder set up for mild steel. would a sleeve be advised? Or should I scrap the idea and build something like the top half...
I've had the brilliant idea to convert my 109 to a tractor. I just don't know what all is entailed. Should I shorten the frame, leave it stock wheel base, or forget the whole idea? Anybody have some pics of a tractor especially the headache rack-spare tire mount area and fuel tank?
Thanks...
Check out the video and tell me if the engine is missing. It has a longer than stock stack and that may be amplifying this effect. It doesn't seem to be low on power and will run 58mph, so if it is missing then I am in for a treat once it is repaired.
Carc is some kinda tough. I've tried sanding it, and it just laughs at me. I don't want to go to the metal, just remove runs and rough spots before I repaint. Any suggestions?
I thought it would be neat for us all to show our knobs. :-P Gear shift knobs that is.:driver: Here is the one I made out of a Jack Daniels cue ball I bought at the Distillery in Lynchburg Tenn. last year.
