Ya I think it drastically improved the looks of the door panels. I have not scratched it yet to see if the paint comes off. But I guess thats why they make rattle 383 cans for :).

LOL ya i modified it to drive upside down its sweet. I tried everything to upload it correctly but everytime it would switch it to upside down , weird. It wasnt bad painting over door panels, I put 2 coats on it with the rapco 383 so far so good. I think i would have rather went with the forest...

Painted over original. The door wasnt shut all the way , might look a bit odd. I used Rapco 383 green inside and out.

I have had my 1986 M1009 for 3 years and I finally was able to get it repainted and added some antenna brackets, antenna brush guards and thick antennas. Really weird I tried adding more pictures but each time I added them they ended up upside down everytime. But atleast one pic worked...

Hello guys, I am in need of a CUCV 6.2 power steering pump bracket. Mine broke in 2 places. I have looked everywhere where I live, I have called parts stores, gm dealer, junk yards and cannot find this part. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks

My power steering pump bracket snapped in 2 places. Does anyone know where I can get one at? All the part stores around where i live say its discontinued :(

OK, I found out what it was. On the firewall you have 2 power strips, one is for the positive wires and the bottom one is for the negative wires. The middle negative wire was really loose, soon as i tightened that up she fired right up. Thank you guys for guiding me in the right direction...

OK, thanks guys I will take a look and update you all on the problem.

Would that ground being loose or having a short in it cause it not to start? I would think that even though there was a ground issue as long as the starter was working that it would still start. Right now it will not start, but turns over fine.

Thanks guys, I will look into this and see if this is loose. Right now there is 2 ground cables coming off the front battery, one goes straight the frame next to the engine and another one goes up front near the battery to the frame as well. Tomorrow I will take a look,, I really hope thats all...
