    Lug bolt thimbles - remove?

Scrapdaddy, any big truck parts place should have them. You need the thimbles to dual aluminum wheels.

    Lug bolt thimbles - remove?

Yes sir we use a thimble that has an extra quarter inch of threads on the inside ofthe shank. that way you have it holding with threads that continue up inside of the wheel. With the outer nut run up tight just reversed.

    Lug bolt thimbles - remove?

When we put ball mount aluminum super singles on we use a long shank thimbe that has the long shoulder, then we flip the outer nuts around and put them on with their flat side in. have never had a problem yet and at times we have 10,000 lbs per hub. Doing it this way there's no mods needed...

    Lug bolt thimbles - remove?

Yall do know that they make thimbles that have an extended shank. Basically the shoulder is about a quarter of an inch from the open end of the thimble. That way you get more hold for thicker wheels.

    Lug bolt thimbles - remove?

You can use the thimbles to hold on the wheel, then flip the outer nuts around and run them up(flat side in) and that'll hold it. If you want to keep the outer nuts. Just my 2 cents.

    Recycling Perfectly Good Deuce Bed

I to hate to see any good military iron going to the scrapper. I'm sure somebody can or will step in there to save it. But if not a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.

Anyone ever used a second trailer body for a "topper"?

How about putting expanded metal on the inside of your bows. You could fix a lockable top tailgate, and still cover with the canvas. I can tell you from experience that your gonna need some ventilation to keep the welder cool.

    Acceptable price for WMO

Being in the logging industry pays off. We have enough to do us after we cut it with fuel. You guys might contact some of your local loggers. Its getting to exspensive to truck in equipment for oil changes. If you come up with a way to catch it, the average logger would give you the stuff just...

I agree with the air in lines and clogged return. But if you have clogged filters it will do exactly what your saying.

    M920 Differential Gears

Yall know if you want to lower rpm and keep the speed relatively the same, you could flip the gears in a 13 over and make it a double over. We've done that for years, to trucks that came out of the oilfeild. Most of them had 4;63 gears and a 13 so we'd flip the gears to reduce rpm on the top...
