    DIY Bed/Cab Liner

I've seen some of these DIY bed liners that are spray/roll on and I like them a lot. Before I go ahead and take the plunge I thought I'd ask and see if any of you have done this before? If all goes well in the bed, I'm also thinking of rolling inside the cab. Just on the floorboards and...

    Lifting Issues with a 1008...

I know another thread about lifts, but I just can't seem to find my answer yet... I am looking at putting a 3.5" lift on a 1008. I understand you have to extend the brake lines but what else is there thats different on a military truck. If I buy a 1986 K30 lift kit, will it go on a m1008...

    autozone shackle kit

It's really easy to find a cheap 1" or 2" susp. lift online. Here is a 3.5 for less than the tires would cost. I'd reccomend buying this and saving for the tires in the long run. 3.5 in. Suspension System with Superide Shocks

    Painting a CUCV?

Kay I might give it a shot. I guess if I screw up I'll just sand it down again. Don't you have to mix the paint and stuff though. How hard is that?

    Blacksmoking a 6.2

Just wondering if you all would think it would be completely stupid to re-tune my fuel injectors so I could black smoke. To be honest there's really no reason for it other than the looks :-o. I wouldn't have it tuned to be smoking 24/7, just when i lay on the throttle. Anyway would this ruin...

    Painting a CUCV?

That seems really high to me...is it the 3-tone that bumps it up that much? What would it cost to just get a 1-tone paint job?

    Looking for a driveshaft M1008

Yep, i'd go with the junkyard option too. These trucks are fairly common there, you shouldn't have too hard of a time finding one. If you do, look up some similar years and models that used the same driveshaft and scout out one of those. Most smart manufacturer's use interchangeable parts...

Thanks guys, I really want the paint to last and look good. I was wondering what kind of paint you'd recommend if I want it to last forever?

To Rebuild or not to Rebuild TH400

Check the junkyards first, the trucks are pretty common. You might even fing one from a civilian truck for less than 400 that works great, since its from a junkyard though i'd still recommend either rebuilding it yourself or draining everything and checking it out.
