I have a 1986 m1008 I had both altenators rebuilt less than a year ago. The volt meter is in the red and the front battery is dieting. Does anybody have any suggestions also I just put new battery in and it went down overnight

i bought the truck from a dealership. the axles seem to be the ones tht came with the truck and yes it drives with top speed around 60

i know all m1008's are supposed to have the detroit locker in the rear but mine seems to not have it?

just wanted to know if there is any cheap ways to increase the horespower.

thinking about getting a m1009. i want to lift it with bigger tires just wondering what the gas mileage would be with like a 4 inch lift with 33's or 35's

i have it in park with the service light switch on, no ignition and they go out wen i switch into reverse or any other gear

fixed problems with my other turn signals but now my reverse lights are stayin on wen im in park ??

jst cut out the diode to get my horn to work and now it works great. but now i jst found out that wen i use my left turn signal the right one goes on too. and also wen i turn on my headlights and try to use my left signal it does not blink it just stays frozen. anyone know how to fix?

i have to get my m1008 inspected. has anyone had to put a catalytic converter in theirs?

alright thanks and do you know if this alternator is isolated ground jst so i could use it on the passenger side if needed. Store Locator | NAPA Online

there are pics. if u need other ones let me know. in the second pic u can see that someone cut the wires. not sure if it has anything to do with the alternator.

just bough the truck the alternator is missing and cant find the harness to hook one up.

where can i order a harness for the driver side alternator?
