My 1008 had the AC13g's. All but hole #3 plug were swolen. And 5 were soo bad they wouldn't come out. Had to break them off. All my mechanic friends said i would have to pull the heads to get the tips out... lol. I pulled the injector over every bad one and fished the swolen peice out with a...

Thanks guys. Still fightin it. It also had fried the diode trio in alt 2. Internals in alt 1 visualy look good, but have not had time to get the meter out and test. Where is the "best" place to get rebuild kits for the 27si alts? Thank you

Hey all, My 86' is givin me fits. Gen 2 light came on and I cooked the batt that supplys the 12 volts (the one in the front). I seem to be getting 24.6V out of the pass side alt and 12.1V out of the drivers alt. Any ideas? Truck is new to me and not sure if alts are wired correctly. Any body...
