I received a box of spare/misc parts when I bought my M1009. I identified almost everything except one set of parts. I finally figured out it was a brake chamber for air brakes. I didn't thin the M1009 had air breaks? Does it or do the parts belong to another truck? I have a diagram I found that...
Straps came in last night. Tank is up. The skid plate didn't fit but would with spacers. I was in too much of a hurry last night racing the sun to mess with it (a project for another day). She runs good and no leaks. All seems well :!: I posted an add for the old tank if anyone needs a FREE tank...
Good news 30 gal tank fits well and is hooked up.. bad news 27 gal straps will not work =(. Ordered the new straps tonight. They are all that is holding me back now!!!!
31 Gal Tank
The 31 Gal tank came in and she fits up in the well and the spout in the same. Waiting for the sending unit now. So far, so good. Cross your fingers!
I looked at the measurements an they are same for the 25 and 31 Gal tanks but the 31 is 2 inches taller. I measured under the truck and it should fit. I also ordered the sending unit for the 31 (my 27 gal was rough anyway). Now waiting for parts to arrive and I will let you know how it goes...
