I have about 60 gallons of this oil. Its Mysella by Chevron. It says for use in stationary gasoline engines. It was run only a short while in a gasoline generator and looks new. Is there any reason not to use it in my M35 or at least in the M151? Additives may be different? I'm using it in my...
Couldn't drop the 1K right now for a mount for the M60 airsoft so I went and got some used fencepost and conduit and whipped one up for now. Came out ok and looks like the real thing to most people.
I want to mount my airsoft M60 on my MUTT but don't have the $1000 to drop on a genuine mount right now. Could someone take a bit of time and shoot me some detailed photos of their mount and pedestal from all angles and give me some measurements please? I want to build a replica mount for the...
I have a NOS vinyl top. It is coated with white powder. Most of it came off with Simple Green and water but it is stuck where it is caked on in a few spots. Any suggestions? Thanks
I am still looking for dash supports. When I do find them I am only going to need the bottom curved parts. If anyone needs the dash sides I would love to sell that parts to offset the cost of the parts. Anyone know where some are available and let me know if you need the sides.
I have some parts I want to sell and I have no idea how to list them. There are many different numbers. An example is this fuel pump. FSCM 71500 MFR/PN M60324S Fuel Pump, Cam actuated, DLA700-84-M-UQ70. Which part number do I use to look it up and what site has the most detailed description...
My first one had the VIN painted under the hood which had the date in it. It is a '71 Ford. The second one has AM General on the valve cover. No other tags or numbers. The third one has a different bumper (straight) and no label on the valve cover or anywhere else. Any other factors that I can...
Got most of the ROPS out. The rear hoop is hard stuck. I will not be reinstalling this. After sitting in a field for 15 years I got her running! It runs on it's own. Did not even take the carb off. I adjusted the valves, changed the oil and replaced the water pump. All that is left is an exaust...
I have friends that make rum here in town. Like alot of it. They have a full time distillery. They have alot of "head" which is the beginning of the batch and is methanol, benzene and such. I can get it by the barrel. If I run it in the deuce will it burn or harm it.
Well, the jeep I had ended up being bent in the middle. Not so bad that it is noticeable unless you measure it or try to install the top. I didnt notice it. Anyway, I found another one that is rusty in the usual places but straight. It has ROPS si I know its not bent. I will be repairing this...
The steering is very tight on my MUTT. The center is real tight and if I jack it up and turn it it wants to fall hard to either side. If I am making a turn I can pretty much let go of the wheel and it doesnt self center. Any ideas befor I tear it apart? Thanks
It looks like the transfer case is leaking from the 2 wheel/4wheel drive selector shaft. All I can seem to find are repair kits for the driveshaft seals. Is there a complete seal kit or does someone know of the part numbers or sizes of the seals I should get? Thanks in advance.
I have used my truck in my back 40 for a week now. Put 35 miles on it. The only way to get it above about 130 degrees was to suck a seat cushion to the grill to get it to temp. I thought the thermostat was stuck so I bought one. If you need a replacement from an auto parts store, I got mine from...
