    WA Misc M35a2 deuce parts

Ok, $900 this week. Isn't the cargo cover alone worth that? Not the exact same cover - https://www.easternsurplus.net/PartDetails/127/M35-270-Deuce-12-Foot-Green-Cargo-Cover

    WA Misc M35a2 deuce parts

Can you give me a range on what you think it is worth? The only thing I'm aware of is the lincoln locker is new in box and worth around $500. So maybe $1k for the whole thing? I'll drop the price by 10% a week until its sold or doesn't sell and I take it all to the dump.

    WA Misc M35a2 deuce parts

Hey ya'll, I was cleaning out the barn and came across a bunch of deuce and a half parts. I was wondering if anyone would offer me a pittance for them as one big lot. There are uncracked mirrors, a new steering wheel, front axle shafts, one rim w/hemmit tire, original inner tubes, new brake...

What to look for on a humvee when buying

You could do a cylinder compression test via the glow plugs and perform the transmission self diagnostic to see if it's throwing any codes. That would let you know the general condition of two of the most expensive things to fix.

Pre-Buy jitters, Reliability nightmare horror stories... Please Help.

I know a guy that charges like $50/month to go check out peoples RV's in storage during the off season and he starts them up and drives them a lap around the storage lot. Pretty good insurance for them and he just batches them all together one weekend a month and makes a tidy little extra pay.

    Deep Water Fording Kit

I have an opportunity to buy a M1097A2 that still has the original DeepWaterFording on it and was missed when being demilled. It that rare and Is that a good thing or something I should avoid? I do have some creeks on the farm it might be fun to cross. Oddly though it has the short intake...

    PNW Info Thread!

Hey Rolling, The Trex wood I bought at Parr Lumber in Vancouver. They have locations in Portland too. I don't remember what the Trex cost though. I'm going to guess around $850 in wood 5 years ago. If you want/need ARB air lockers and trex troop seats, just buy my truck and swap parts you want...

    PNW Info Thread!

Would anyone be interested in a really nice set of troop seats/cargo sides for an M35a2/deuce? I rebuilt them out of green wood print trex with all the hardware powder coated in army green. The bows though, are the original bent oak wood but are in good shape. I'm going to get rid of my deuce...

If that electric car is a Tesla, I'd trade him :) I wasn't even in the ball park. I was hoping for $15k or so which is about %30 of what I invested in it. I'll revisit selling it another time.

At the current prices, I may not let her go. Plus, I can't find anything remotely like it. Maybe a highly modified F650 but it still wouldn't be close to the same capabilities. I just need to hold on until we have massive flooding or the big shake and then I'll get big bucks for it! :) I also...

    PNW Info Thread!

She is a 1968/1987 depot rebuild. I believe she has the split line brakes. They use a different master cylinder than the regular ones don't they? I bought a new standard deuce master cycinder and it isn't what's in there. I may just part her out as I think the axles and wheels with air lockers...

    PNW Info Thread!

Can you guys help me out with figuring a price range on a AirForce model M35A2C I have that I am considering selling. I've had it about 6 years. Driven it about 6 times and may be moving soon and don't know if I can take it with me. I've dropped a ton of money into it including: Hemmit Tires...

    Ouverson axle shafts warning

Yes they are the upgraded performance seals. I will double check that the seal is set as deep as possible. No burrs until after a lot of rubbing. Now there are a few on the spindle. Yes, these axles don't come with a shoulder that would be needed to hold a thrust washer. I was told they...

    Ouverson axle shafts warning

Yes, Ouverson U-joints. Bought the shafts pre-assembled as a "plug and play" complete kit.

    Ouverson axle shafts warning

I asked for Randy but he wasn't available so I talked to Steve, the shop manager I think. He confirmed the dimensions. He said I could ship it back to them and they could put it on the lathe and turn it down some without being worried of jeopardizing the structural integrity. He didn't say if it...

    Ouverson axle shafts warning

Please be aware that if you are considering upgrading to Ouverson 16 spline alloy front axle shafts that the universal joints may be larger than the u-joints on the stock axles which can cause big problems. The Ouverson u-joint measures 5.134" across which is almost a 1/4" larger than the stock...

Need some ideas with a new problem..

We did repack all the grease but it just melted it all again after 10 minutes of driving. Ouverson axles don't have thrust washers. While I'm at it, I'll check the brake adjustment too. That is a strong possibility. They are new cylinders but maybe I didn't adjust things correctly. I like the...
