rain today on/off unpredictably so that throws off putting up remaining end.
Questions though. The Draw Cord for curtain(s)
End just put up has no draw cord. Obviously can make one..... How does this draw cord supposed to work...... where does it attach. TM's SUCK cause they assume draw cord...
LMTV has remained daily driver.. NOT BY CHOICE... its only thing that runs.... (though alternator not run in 2.5yrs.)
Speaking of Alternator.... Local "Electric Motors" ad on Marketplace showed three electric motors but onnnnnne???? not motor..... You folk probably see exactly what I saw...
One end Curtain installed. Am at it it alone again. Eddie ended up with unexpected sick baby and family priority stuff to deal with for a while. He'll be back to assisting soon. He got me over the hump and moving again, so am grateful.
Pics and Vids coming soon
Yeah I have the TM's. and refer back and forth to them. Was just recognizing that in the photos of these in actual use in theatre and some in setup by surplus companies that sell them.. the ropes are sometimes like TM's and sometimes straight down along the edges. One surplus company I saw...

OK.... got it... way they were folded up and stored... w/doors not in position they would be when installed .... as I unfolded and laid it out.... it just was ????? Yep it is how Platoon last folded it up.... that was causing the mind explosion :cookoo: 🤯 .. and why it made no sense...
anyone put a floor cloth in a tent like this before? Curious how you fix it to the ground . Would think turning would be a problem as you jocky the rig around inside. Is there like ground stakes ever 2 feet thru the material orrrrr??
PS-this image is another example as well of the whole...
Question..... TM calls for Tie down ropes off at angles......... but ton of pics it appears folk have run them straight down along the walls to the ground. (or pics just have ropes dangling?)
@swiss and anyone else with an LME, How do you have yours tied off?
( see image in...

He hit me with a Harpoon.... Ma eyes fell out :ROFLMAO: ..... picked em back up...... put em into the correct Orbits (eye sockets) in ma skull. ..(apparently they were backward before). Appears the velcro always did lines up... it was just my eyes were in da wrong...
UPDATE- see later post...
Pre-install of remaining cover:
Hmmm Which way orientation? hmmm??? study study, look at pics etc... ok
diagrams and photos inconclusive if Vent holes at base of each Cover half end up on opposite sides or same side . Pics/drawings both ways are shown...
:grd:Cover section been working on is now hanging over the frame completely. Came in for some cold water (with a little salt for replacement from sweating) . It occured to me this morning that..... if you HAVE to remove and fix a ripped cover after your whole LME is up... this whole idiocy of...
got thru first set of storms. Was not too bad the time I went out to lift up to let water drain. Have LMTV under it so can stand on it to lift cover. Supposedly in an hour another couple hours of rain is coming thru.
phew... hope it stays like this or better..... seems to be typical here and weather report gets pushed later and later.. Now they are saying 7am rain start and only lasting around three hours
took about 14-16?hours on own over last two days to get second half of cover almost half way on. Cover is just shy of the Ridge Beam/Perlun and strapped / tied all over the place.. AKA- wall and half the roof is sorta up.
and of course..... just looked at weather... heavy rains and...
