I know this is an older thread but I thought this info might help someone down the road.

Wondering what the pro/cons are of these two wheels? As far as I can tell the 20 bolt has some type of regulator on the valve stem and the 24 bolt doesn't? Anything else? And if I had a choice between them would the 24 bolt be better?
There definitely are some advantages to living out in the sticks of Montana. I had to have a deputy come inspect my vehicle and we had to correct on the title; The VIN, The Year, The Make, The Model, & GVW. With all that he was still done in about five mins., I then went to the DMV and in...
My new to me Deuce has a brand new driver seat and a not so good bench seat. I'd like to match the material on the drivers seat if possible but so far have not had any luck (I have searched the site). It looks to be a finer than canvas type material and is more green than some of the covers I've...
I did check classifieds here. Got a pretty good deal on 1 gallon $50.00 plus priority shipping for $10.00 and supported a veterans charity. Thanks for the quick shipping Sargent Mace!
Now I can safely drive my truck!

Thank-you very much for the information! But I have one quick question, on the dash plate it says the truck is a REO with a Manufacture date of 195x (the x being a blank space) but the manufacture code that you gave me is for a jeep from 1966, could Jeep have converted this truck from a gasser...

I got lucky and 3 Dueces came up for auction in Helena, Mt. They were DNRC rigs that the DNRC had only had for a couple years. I got the best one of the bunch, was able to test drive it before bidding on it. She purrs like a kitten, only things was we had to jump her because the batteries are...
Just wanted to give a shout out to a excellent site and say thanks for all the great information. I just purchased my first Duece and will be picking it up next week. Should be a great adventure! I'll post pictures next week after I get it home.
