Finaly cutting down and giving up

I like the way you have convinced yourself it is a multi fuel engine and will run on contam fuel ! In other posts you are offering yourself as an expert to vet unscrupulous UK dealers but you cannot even get this correct. The questions you asked me when enquring about the 434 I was recently...

    Diesel in engine oil

My M35 engine sump has started to top up with fuel. Oil level is increasing on the stick and oil is looking very thin. At the end of the last 35 mile run out the oil pressure dropped to 15 psi at idle...it has never ever dropped this low before. Any ideas where it may be leaking from to get into...

    Trouble Starting FV432

Are you checking the fuel outlet to the injectors with the throttle fully depressed ? This will make a difference to the amount of fuel delivery, remember though it will only be a very small amount on each stroke, just enough fuel to "crack" the injector needle.

    My M1 Abrams/Chieftain Mk5 is home!

Far from reliable, until the Mk13a engine was achieved they were horrendous, pack changes were required regularly. Challenger 1 and 2 are far more reliable.

I thought I knew how to drive a tank!

Sorry but you are talking absolute rubbish, the Chieftain has an electrically controlled semi auto gearbox, there is a foot control like changing gear on a motor bike, heel down for 2 reverse gears, toe down for 6 forward gears. There is also a seperate emergency gear selector which is a cable...

    UK APC's/Tanks (FV432/CVRT) in States

Russian military are a very well known and reputable dealer here in the UK, as you can see dealing mainly in Russian MVs. As the advert was posted in August I would think that one is now on its way to Africa with 39 others !

    UK APC's/Tanks (FV432/CVRT) in States

You will be very lucky to find a legitimate running 432 for that sort of money these days, a major dealer here just cleared the market buying 40 of them for a major export deal they were paying up to £8k each for them. What website was it you were looking at, I may know who it is and be able to...
