    OK thanks for letting me know I was not going crazy. Our 5 tons had the single wheel also. I sure wish I had paid more attention then, but I was not in the motor pool so I only saw them when we had to transport supplies and or soldiers.:beer:

    I have a question about the tires on a duece. I was in the 82ND Airborne in the late 80's-early 90's. I would have bet my life that the dueces in my unit had 6 large tires instead of the duals.
