    Perfect Backspacing?

I know that you can find it in a search. The search function on here can be tricky to use. I use google, and add "steel soldiers" to my search. Anyway, I think that you can just run the adapter plate on the outside of the HEMMT wheels for the front, and on the inside for the rear. They you...

    M35A3 smaller steering wheel

I haven't looked, but I assume that you take it loose at the firewall and the dash? Or is it not even bolted at the firewall? I need some leg room, and this will help.

    Finally bobbed and running again

Thanks again for the compliments guys. I think that I am going to add a large tool/storage box on the driver side to match the look of the fuel tank on the other side. I still need to do mount the rear mud flaps. Not sure about the front ones. If there is anyone in the Midwest looking for...

    Perfect Backspacing?

I just looked at my notes. The front side offset is 3.5" on my wheels.

    Finally bobbed and running again

ApopkaFL, I should be good to go when I get my new wheel. I appreciate the info though. MWMULES, so if I show up mid afternoon on Sunday or even Monday, will I be able to drive right in and park with the other MV's? Sorry for the questions.

    Perfect Backspacing?

CJ is the guy to talk to at Longs. I'm not sure on the backspacing. They are the same as what ODIron's wheels were when he was having them built. CJ will know what it is. I can post pics later tonight. I copied someone else on here. I had holes drilled around the circumference of the wheel...

    Finally bobbed and running again

I talked to CJ today at Long's Wheels. They reminded me that the wheels are for off-road use only, but they would go ahead and send me a replacement wheel for the one that has over an 1/8th inch of run out. I'll have to live with the one that has about 1/16th. They have been a good company to...

    Perfect Backspacing?

I just mounted 395 MVT's on Long's wheels. For me, and my tire guy, it was a PIA. I'm sure others have done it easier. This tire guy primarily does large truck and tractor tires. He said that these were the hardest that he had ever done. It took both of us and another guy to get them...

    Finally bobbed and running again

Thank you guys. I am going to call the wheel manufacturer on Monday, but I am not looking forward to the call. What is an acceptable tolerance? My fabrication friend said .001 would be to him. Well none of them are that close. I really wish that I would have just purchased converted...

    Finally bobbed and running again

With the help of a few others, I finished my truck Saturday. I bought the truck in February, and on the trip home threw a rod. The truck sat until the end of April. At the end of April we started bobbing it while looking for a replacement engine. During the bobbing process a friend and I...

    Kansas city memorial day rally

I now plan on being there. jwright came out tonight and worked on the truck with me. Well, he did a lot of wrenching while I did a lot of talking. Anyway, by the end of the night we were driving it. The truck has moved under its own power for months.

    Kansas city memorial day rally

If I can get my clutch fixed, and just a few other items, I'd love to come. My truck is now bobbed. Will that be an issue?

    Need help with clutch adjustment

Jon, I agree with you. We should have adjusted the fingers, but we both thought it was a good idea at the time. I'll probably just pull the trans and put the other clutch in.

    deuce 9-20 tires, rims

I'm glad that I saw this thread. I have 10 excellent condition/near new T-Hawks mounted on really good wheels. I didn't know what they were worth. I'm going to see if I can get $50 for each tire/wheel.

    Need help with clutch adjustment

I have googled, searched, read through the TM's but I'm still stumped on how to properly adjust my clutch. I just installed a new engine in my truck, and used the clutch that was with the engine. It is a 4 finger, just like my old one. When we I went to hook up the clutch rod, it wouldn't...

    Spin on filter options

Just send him a PM and he'll get back to you. There is a long list of filters that you can use. Most are easily available at any parts store. He does most of his computer work in the evening, so if you PM him this morning he may not reply til tonight.
