Ditto on the packed like sardines. I picked up a 796 trailer last week that was buried. But Jimmy the forklift driver knew where it was and helped hook it up. In and out in about 20 minutes.
When you get the new gaskets for the oil cooler the metal gasket has a bevel on it that is very confusing. Make sure they explain how it goes on and you understand. When I picked up my 932 it ran hot and had some oil in the coolant. Changing the oil cooler did the trick. I was told to use...
Need source for 24 volt battery for MEP-701A (MEP-016B with sound enclosure)
I bought the 4 NH at batteries plus in Bloomington IN. They had to order it but didn't take but a couple of days.
The last I checked C&C had an electric hoist kit for under $2000. I have a winch truck also but just adding a dump is not as simple and straight forward as it should be. Lots of luck.
For 24 bucks at Rural King the entire 12 volt setup. Put the lights side by side you have two trailer plugs. No adapter. Just plug and go. Takes about half an hour to instal.
I saw someone say 300 per month. I don't know could be. Also a total of 32 -39000 total vehicles. 36000 (a round number) at 300 per month is 10 years. THERE ARE ALOT MORE. Let the junk go to the scraper and save your hard earned cash for the good one that is coming .
I am going to remove one of my fuel tanks and replace with an extra tool box. Still plenty of fuel for my needs. Seems like keeping the tank on the the driver side is most convenient. Also puts box on the off road side for emergency breakdown. Any comments?
Do you remember the birds nest you got with a casting rod when you were a kid? Try it with 1/2 inch steel cable that has been on a winch for years. Have soldier b with you the first time you use it.
Been wanting to do this since I got my 932. One thing is the volume of hydraulic fluid needed for the cylinder. The winch is a motor so doesn't need much volume. I haven't had time to check it all out. I do know the kits some are selling don't have very big reservoirs so there are cylinders...
The thing I don't like about these trucks is doing 25-30 mph up a hill with Buba roaring up behind me at 70. The rear lights are terrible also. I'll admit I am a wimp. Are you legal? You bet. But I have done it and I didn't like it.
I guarantee if you sell it the way it is some crook will buy it then sell it as a good truck. He will make money on the deal and the third guy will get the snitzel. I don't like being a pessimist but that is how some of these guys make a living. Thank you for being so honest.
Thanks for the thread. I am wanting to use the winch hydraulic pump to run a dump system for a 925 bed. Sounds like the Northern valve is the way to go. Where did you mount the valve?
