The M1031 with 5" lift, 12-bolt H1's and no spacers build!

Looks awesome. The newly shaped wheel arches are very Humvee-esque. Inner fender shouldn't be too hard to finish out by the looks of it. Nice work!

The M1031 with 5" lift, 12-bolt H1's and no spacers build!

You got it. I should have specified front although there is only one Dana 60 in the truck...:-P I figured you were rebuilding an extra and doing a switch, but I also knew that you could just throw the dually front hubs on your existing axle. Swapping beats rebuilding an axle still under a...

The M1031 with 5" lift, 12-bolt H1's and no spacers build!

This is a great build. I was curious as to why you didn't want to just throw dually hubs on the 60 that was in there? Is the axle going to be farther forward in the wheel well once you put a bed on it because of the shackle mod? Really nice work man, keep it up!

    Fuel Issue on Startup?

    M1008 bridge plate number

Mine said 68 when I picked it up. So this may be a NEWB question, but if only one number is used, why is it a 2 space plate? Is there ever a reason to use both numbers?

    My new M1009

Thanks guys, I appreciate all the compliments! I would cross the straps if I could, but they aren't long enough. The lucky thing is, the rear tires on most stuff I tow is between the fenders on the trailer so side to side isn't a huge concern there. I am blessed to have not had any issues so...

My M1009 has a minor rust issue!!!!!

Camp Shelby in Hattiesburg, Mississippi is a good place to go. Mine has a little rust on the rockers, they arent bad enough to replace yet though. I don't plan on driving it in the salt, so they probably won't get too much worse very fast.

    My new M1009

Hello, I'm new to this group. I just bought my first CUCV from GovLiquidation in the fall. I drove from Michigan to Camp Shelby to pick it up in December. I have been daily driving it for about 3 weeks now that the salt is off the roads. Great vehicle, runs really awesome. All I had to do was...
