I am late posting but you can change the clutch by sliding the engine forward after removing the floor panels and radiator.kepping the engine on a engine hoist.That is the easyest way todo the job.fast and pretty easy.
If it runs and the tires are good then 6,500 is fair to start but don't go over 7,800.About 10 MPG.Put US military tires on with the road tread (round tread instead of flat) these tires will last a whole lot longer,I run them tubless.

The MILspec boots are the ones to get .If the one piece is to stiff to slide on then boil water,take pan off of the heat source and place boot in water for about 3 min.Take boot out of water and put directly on assy. This gives you about 2 minuts to put the boot on..But the miltary usaully did...
