I've used a jack like that to lift one front wheel - but NOT using the tie-down ring. Under the ring is a notch in the bracket which the jack will fit into.
Help!
I won a GovLiq auction I could swear said shipping was available before I bid, and now that I have won it says shipping is not available.
Looking for someone in the area to pick it up and mail it out. Small item, should fit in a med flat-rate box. $30 for the service do it?
I'm confused. What's a "thing with them"?
Hagerty is the broker, they don't actually insure my vehicle. I forget the name of the actual insurance carrier, but it's legitimate insurance.
Today was the annual Saints Car Club Cruz car show. I only found out about it a couple days ago so decided to pack a lawn chair and run the M1165 out there. It's a big show, lots of classics - almost 600 cars turned out.
What a great number for the HMMWV!
If you get a dot on the headlight...

If the turns flash with the bulb removed from the signal stalk, you can live with it like that, or replace that bulb with the one that fixes the problem. I forget the part number, I think it's available on amazon.
When I had my M1009 I was mortified if someone thought I painted a K5 in camo - "It came that way from the factory!"
I'd be equally mortified if someone thought my 1165 was one of those SUV conversion kits...
"They park them all over on the base, and there's no keys, so..."
Ironically...
Took the Chevy mag wheels off and listed them for sale, put two good HMMWV wheels and tires on the trailer.
Got to looking at it, decided to pull out the pressure washer and wash the outside of the trailer, decided to do the tarp as well, then figured I may as well do the inside of the...
Good morning all!
I recently picked up a small truckload of HMMWV parts, which included a super rare GMV roof and rear rack assembly. It won't work well with my M1165 without some fitting and welding (a skill I sadly do not have).
Trying to gauge interest if anyone has a M1114 model (direct...
Not talking about the insurance company, talking about an accident investigator looking into your LLC and determining it doesn't do any business, and exists merely to circumvent a law.
The Revokable Trust doesn't have that pitfall.
