    Tire Balancing

40, as forty?? That's 2.5lbs??? I'm not doubting but it must have taken all day for one tire.

    Looking For Bed Material

I'm looking for a 2'×2', or multiple smaller pieces (6"×6") of bed material from one that's been replaced. I have 6 drilled holes with secondary corrosion that I would like to cut out and weld the replacement pieces in. Other than those 6 places the bed is solid. A full bed replacement would...

Modern tire size to replace 900x16

Yes, radial tubes. Here's the info from Charles T: The tubes that work best are lowboy trailer tire tubes, size 8.25X15" tubes with the correct brass stems. Don't let the 15" tube size confuse you, these work great. The correct stem length is very important, be sure they don't get tubes with...

    Electrical system

You need one of theses. Mount it on the firewall where it's accessible. Move all wires but the battery wire to the new buss bar. Then run a 4ga wire from the starter terminal to the buss bar.

    Filament to LED Light Bulbs??

Has the Hive Mind changed out the filament bulbs to 24v LEDs? I'm looking for the Stop/Turn and Marker (tail) lights. From what I can research the Stop/Turn are #1156 and are commonly replaceable with equivalent LEDs that run on 12-24v. The markers, #1251, not so easy... Yes, already converted...

    Coilovers??

Your truck, you do you, but... Why? I'm doing resto-mods on mine but they are centered around safety.

    Electrical system

I have great results with ANCOR Marine wires. Available via Amazon in various colors, lengths, sizes. Have used ANCOR exclusively in boats and recently have done a lot of wiring in the M37.

    Headlights OR parking lights ???

Thanks! Your hint on jumping the wires at the flasher helped me figure out what's wrong. The flasher is bad, for one. The wiring was incorrect, it was also labeled incorrectly. I ran out of time with one issue left. When the right directional is on the left also is on. Deep diving into the...

    Headlights OR parking lights ???

I'm neither OCD, nor does NC require it. I just thought it odd the front yellow lights (whatever the proper name is) did not work when the headlights are on. It's either one or the other, not both. I will eventually wire them up but that's lower on the 'ToDo List' right now. My priority is...

    Headlights OR parking lights ???

I'm connecting up the front lights and came upon a dilemma... While testing, are either headlights OR parking lights on? As in one or the other? Are they both on at any switch setting?

    Oil Bath Air Cleaner Gasket?

I'm trying to find what gasket is used under the oil bath air cleaner between the mounting sleeve. There's no reference that I can find. Make one? Cork. Rubber, Leather?

    New2Me 1961 M37

Should be but Ah, that's kind of a temp mount. You might also check the ground connection. Not seeing what going on that could also be a contributing factor.

It might be over pressuring the float valve. Research the pump pressure and if it's above 3-5psi then install a pressure regulator. Also, it's best to rewire so the pump is energized when the oil pressure is present. I have a switch to manual prime to help when changing filters or needing to...
