Went up to silver lake for a couple days with both 1009s (each has 3.73 gears and 37s)both trucks made the trip flawlessly. Including climbing the dunes lol. Great trip.

Thanks. The rims are Pro Comp 16.5x8.25 about $70 ea from summit racing, just steel rims nothing fancy.

...just got 37s and a little trimming I picked up a set of take off 37x12.5 bfgs put em on some 8.25 rock rims and gave the bumper a little trim job ...all I have to do now is test it out haha

700r4 gear ratios: 3.06:1 1st 1.63:1 2nd 1:1 3rd od 0.70:1 th400 gear ratios: 2.48:1 1st 1.48:1 2nd 1:1 3rd The lower first gear in the 700 makes it good swap when combined with a high axle ratio such as a 3.08, and there is nothing wrong with running 1500 rpm at 65 if you need more power it...
