I believe you'll have to pull the hub assembly. For parts and good info, I'd call Jim at Eurotech Services (google them). One of the best with Mog parts and overall knowledge. When I had my Mog, they were the only ones I'd get parts from.
That is a 404 and most likely a TLF (fire suppression). The engine will probably be a 2.2L inline 6 (slight chance it could be a 2.8L). They are a bit slow. However, off road they shine...the TLFs weight will hold it back a bit.
How does the Aluma-Hyde handle sunlight? Also, what types of metals are you applying it to? I'm going to be painting my Pinzgauer next year, and would like some durable options for small bits and pieces. Thanks.
Does anyone have pics of vehicles with both AJP WWII semi-gloss versus 24087 (Gillespie) side by side? I'm trying to decide on a paint color for my Pinzgauer. The original Swiss OD green has a fair amount of brown in it. That and it has a bit of a sheen to it.
Many thanks.
It requires MB starter fluid. You can contact most Mog dealers like Jim Ince at Eurotech in Oregon. The real stuff is not that expensive and works well on the OM352 engine.
Who actually originated this letter/email? I tried going to www.surplusbuyers.org and saw no alerts, warnings, etc. of any kind. Just trying not to verify and not chase a hoax.
I've figured out that the problem goes away if you log in every time you visit the forum. Just log in and don't check the 'remember me' box. Then new posts will show as new until you read them or leave the site.
