I have access to several hundred gallon of isopropyl alcohol. Does anyone know whether this can be used as fuel for the deuce and if so, does it need to be mixed with something else, like diesel of used motor oil.

I just purchased 2 deuces and drove them 180 miles to my home. I dont remember the transmissions being so noisy when I drove one in the service. The noise is almost like a muncie 4 speed rock crusher trans. Are the gears a straight cut gear? If so then this would explain the noise.
