    Quick Exhaust Valve Rubber

HI, Noticed that one of my Quick Exhaust Valves is missing the rubber part that is on the output that keeps junk (dust/dirt) from going backwards into the valve like a flapper. Not sure where to acquire one of these? Looked around a bit and found nothing. Any ideas? Thanks!

    M925A2 Starting

HI again, Went to start my 5ton after sitting for a week or so and it fired right up as it always does with 1 sec of cranking. let it warm up and moved it 50' and shut it down. Then go to start it 3hrs later 70 degrees outside and it took 3 attempts cranking to get it to start, then the same...

    Unloader Issues?

Thanks for the descriptive information here! I have a Cummins dealer just down the road so I will probably get those parts if they are not too expensive to order.

    Unloader Issues?

Sounds like your truck is coming along there. Where did you get your unloader parts? A cummins dealer? Do you have any part #'s from doing your fix for the unloader? Thanks for the response!

    Did you find anything out?

    Unloader Issues?

OK thanks, Yes it does leak on the outside gaskets and bolts but it is not very much just small bubbles.

    Unloader Issues?

Thanks, You do not need to remove anything to get at those rear bolts? Just go to a Cummins dealer to get the unloader and gaskets?

    Unloader Issues?

Thanks, a bit more complex than I first thought. But these compressors should be 100% duty cycle being it has CTIS that can use a lot of air!

    Unloader Issues?

Well I hooked up an air compressor to the emergency glandhand and brought the wet tank up to 125psi and disconnected the unloader line going into the intake of the engine and air is going out that line to the intake. Then right on 107psi it stops leaking out because the unloader shifts back...

    Unloader Issues?

Thanks, no holes anywhere. I shut the ball valves off to the primary and secondary tanks to isolate that as well. I hear no leaks (if any they are very slight) with the truck off. Leaks down to 107 due to the governor telling the comp. to unload. then does not leak down the wet tank when...

    Unloader Issues?

Would a bad unloader make the compressor kick on too fast ? Put a pressure gauge in the wet tank to see why it kicks on in 15 sec after it shuts off. My wet tank drains down to 107 from 125 in 15 seconds then stops draining when the compressor kicks on so the unloader is doing somthing here...

    M923a2 building air to frequently

I noticed mine leaks around the head gasket a bit, not a lot but some bubbles out there. That would not make the compressor kick on that fast though, shouldn't have anything to do with it? Did find a governor line leaking bit ( a steel one) but tightening it didnt do anything. not enough to...

CTIS Weak Blow OFF On Deflate

Your was blowing off weak? That is the issue here, the CTIS works perfect, it is just not blowing off at the end of the cycle properly on all 3 blow off valves under the truck. Something froze up I would think, but have used it in colder weather a few weeks ago with no issues.

CTIS Weak Blow OFF On Deflate

Thanks for the post. Not sure exactly what you are talking about here but it does not sound good. This has happened several times before. CTIS air must be getting in the diff somehow. But what you are talking about sounds like just one axle. All the axle quick release valves are not...

CTIS Weak Blow OFF On Deflate

HI, M925A2. Here is what is happening, when the ctis cycles on first time start up it blows out the quick exhaust valves as it should (nice and loud) but when you drive it a bit the blow offs get very weak on the CTIS Quick release valves when the system does the normal 15 min cycle. (it...

Finally found something that does not work on M925A2

Thanks! and that small hole is in the stepped part? It looks like 2 holes, on the each side of the stepped piece and not on the end like you say.
