M939A2-series Fuel Prime Fixes (No start, lost prime, won't start)

Might be a strange question... but what are the fittings referred to that connect the fuel selector valve to the hard lines? -AN fittings are not correct and everything I read says -AN and JIC fittings are the same 37* flare. Which is the proper fitting?

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Truck’s fuel lines were sucking air and I tracked it down to a few cracked flexible lines. Pulled the fuel tank selector valve out to replace the 6 fuel lines attached and the large filter to pump line. Built/assembled all the lines/fittings tonight, will hopefully get the ‘stock’ lines off the...

M936? Is this the right forum?

Congrats on your purchase!! I just drug my new wrecker (M936a2) home from Delaware yesterday. The amount of tools and hiding spots on the 36s are crazy, I'm used to the 923 and 932 which had zero storage compared to this beast.

New again. Not new to SS but new truck, so I'm back

I've been out of the military truck world for a few years but a recent purchase puts me right back in the middle of it. I purchased an M936a2 through GP, what feels like years ago and finally got the paperwork approved. Picked up the lil girl yesterday from DE National Guard. The Sgt said...

Going to pick up a 1987 HMMWV

Did you pick it up yet? Just a heads up, Humvees have wide track width, they do no fit on a standard trailer.
