    Well gang I did not plan well and both my truck and trailer needs wheel bearings. Not having a lot of time to fix it I'll be there Friday in the M1009. I believe Josh will be there Friday with his bummer. See you soon!

    Yes the extra knob on the shift tower is a rab shifter. It lets you shift the transmission manually. With it installed the transmission is no longer an automatic. The only thing to do now is a rebuild.

    The few things I learned from changing mine. When installing the rear seal find a large pipe to drive the seal on. It looks like you could just push it on but you can't. When you are seeting the pre load on the bearings run the first nut up untill you fill just a little drag. I did mine with...

    If you have to pull the hubs and chain up the Axel. You might be able to tighten the wheel Bering. Loose bearings will also cause them to leak. I would replace seals and bearings when you get home.

    Bleave it or not but you alternator s do provide some current while cranking the engine. Learned this the hard way. Check your voltage while cranking the engine over. Your batterys may not be up to 100% charge. While it shows 12 volts with no load it may drop to 8 volts under a load with rated...
