    Rear Disc Brakes

This is a worthy mod for our trucks...Ive always been told by older mechanics that properly adjusted and maintained drums are just as good as discs, but it seems now with the fast pace everyone travels at, the discs are a necessary safety requirement..... For sure have to add this mod to the...

Hello, New guy with a M1009 project truck

Lytemup454.....if you do this build, please start a thread and post pics....I too love the 8.1L....cheap to fix (not diesel) and a pretty good stock powerhouse....we have one in our chevy 3500 cube and a GMC 7500 stake truck, makes our 6.0L cube see tailights all day long.

    1986 Camp Shelby M1008 Restoration

I remember when expanding foam first came out...we used it on a 74 Chev Lemans dash to fill in the missing, cooked parts...than recovered with 3M Heavy Spray adheasive to attach the new vinyl layer, a heat gun is the wonder tool for streching and fitting the new vinyl skin. The foam hardens to...

Silver Eagle M1102 1.4 Ton Trailer

Good timing on this thread, Ive been waiting for the weather to get better but I think I may have to go this route too with my M1010, the box is off now but I think a bed would be way better than a flat deck I was thinking about I really like the looks of the trailer bed than a regular Chevy bed...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Its the big fat direct drive....original one in this truck by the looks of everything...still 24V with the proper GM support bracket. Seems it was just wear from use, it was fine till I had the desiel leak make everything slippery and that is when the starter started to slip and grind.
