Analog to Digital Dash conversion (STE/ICE - help)

Sorry for my ignorance. You got a picture you can share of this “T” junction? I’m not able to find it.

Analog to Digital Dash conversion (STE/ICE - help)

It may be an exercise in futility however it’s more of a practical learning experience for me and perhaps a little cool factor to go along with it. Thanks for the tip on the sending units. That’s the info I was after.

Analog to Digital Dash conversion (STE/ICE - help)

That's a really great point. Currently I have the 6.2 with the 4l80e. I wired up a digital tach to the generator, and used a Dakota Digital Signal Interface (SGI-100BT) to convert the signal. I'm really wanting to try and do this. The hardest part , for me, is understanding how to get the info...

Analog to Digital Dash conversion (STE/ICE - help)

Those diagrams are unfortunate- I thought for sure there would be more information going to the STE port. And two, still trying to understand what pin goes to what is still unclear. I really appreciate you locating those. What TM did you find it in? You're probably correct about the factory...

Analog to Digital Dash conversion (STE/ICE - help)

That’s the thought process, yes. I was hoping to hear from some others, in the group, that may have more electrical knowledge. But from what I understand you have to use sending units that are less than 5v to use in conjunction with the Arduino computer. I would presume that the 5v sending units...

Analog to Digital Dash conversion (STE/ICE - help)

Looking to create a arduino setup that reads analog inputs such as: Oil Pressure Coolant Temp Fuel Level etc Displaying them on a TFT LCD screen Instead of putting in some VDO sending units, I was thinking of using the STE/ICE port, since all signal wires are going to it. I looked through the...

    Constant running fan.

Wasn't really specified which hose to push compressed air through, on the cad. valve side. So I tried all three hoses. I didn't see the fan clutch move at all - does that mean the fan clutch is stuck? If so, what is needed to get the fan clutch to become unstuck? A rebuild?

    700R4 transmission in a HMMWV

Nice!!!! It really helps my case in making me get one. Just trying to determine if I can source all the parts or just buy one from DirtyzBoyz You got the 700R4 right 90Jimmy? I drove it to work today and average speed is 55-60 for about 20 miles. It was miserable. Haha

    700R4 transmission in a HMMWV

That’s the thing. I did talk to MME, and when I asked why they were $750 MORE expensive than DirtyBoyz, I got zero response. I understand the HMMWV market has exploded in the past 10 years, so I guess you can charge whatever you want to charge. I’m sure they’ll honor their warranty - by...

    700R4 transmission in a HMMWV

What I’d liked to know is, where DirtyBoyz and Midwest Military Equipment get the trans from. DirtyBoyz charges $3,250. Midwest charges $3,999. If you read the descriptions from both sites, they say, word for word, the exact same thing. If someone smarter than me knew, IÂ’d like to know...

    Looking to buy an m725

I have a K20 3/4 ton Chevy rolling chassis with a new 350 motor and 350 turbo transmission and 37" Humvee tires. The rear end is change to a 4.11 gear for highway speeds but still strong enough to do some light off-roading.. I have been looking at options of cab to put on the chassis, have...
