fitment of vinyl covers the evil Dr. porkchop is right on the money...I have the camo cover on my M101A2 trailer which sits just above the tie downs(p/n is correct as per manual)...the bows are the proper length, not cut down as some would suggest was done when carrying a generator...my buddy...

M1010 A/C on 12V Hi Gilles...you need to send a PM to C15TA on this site...Barry's M1010 was also converted by a police agency to 12v, his battery also drains if he leaves it connected, but I'm pretty sure his A/C does work and blows cold...W

that's Nick Denardo's TOW missile mule in the photo from Aberdeen, MD, and those tires are what was placed on the mule, in addition to the wide fenders, to operate in ares where high flotation was required...I have the same set up on my mule...W

M/C cap just an FYI...in order for the brakes to operate properly, the cap must be vented...I have seen bothe styles of caps used on the M1**A2 series trailers w/surge brakes...mine has the muhroom shaped cap with vent hole, others have a vent line...water tends to get in the vent hole on mine...

M101CDN2 trailer first of all, that is NOT!!!!!! a 416 trailer!...the CDN trailer is a helluva lot better!...heavier trailer, similar size bed, better built...bulbs are probably still 24V, as used for the Iltis...most of these trailers never even made into CDN service, and sold surplus w/o ever...

700R4 swap it makes no sense to install the 700R4 into an otherwise unmodified M1009, unless you leave the transmission selector in drive, and don't use OD, because the axle ratio is 3:08 to 1....the engines in these trucks were designed to run at a decent RPM, but with the 700R4 and 3:08 gears...

front axle I have the LockRight locker in my Dana 60....performs very well off road, where 4X4 is intended to be used by these vehicles.....with the factory Detroit installed in the rear, some weight in the bed, and proper driving techniques, I drive my truck frequently here in Ontario, Canada...
