    Going to replace wheel bearings both sides, just wanted to confirm the part # Timken 39590 Timken 39520 and the set is "set 408" Anything else I need to pick up to do the job?? Thanks RJ

    Well, made it home ok. Now its time to start cleaning it up. Think Ill start with the wheel bearings :) and here is a pic of my new ugly beast......gotta say, not bad for $120.

    45 miles to go, taking my last break. Just trying to be extra careful. An extra 15 minutes here on the end of the trip won't kill me......but if i lot a hub......well....wouldn't kill me but it sure would really stink. :)

    150 miles. water just slowly steams off. No noise. Not spitting grease. Just warmer than any of my boat trailers have gotten. Im just going to take my time and hope for a shop on the way. Would it even help to get grease into only one side?

    Hubs are getting warm after about 40 miles at 50mph. I read the TM and it says to pull the tire obviously to service the bearings. I can't get the nuts to budge with the breaker bar , and yep. I know the left side is reverse threads. Can i got to the outer bearings without pulling the tire...

    just went from post 1 to the last.......... and once I get my M105a2 fixed (ok, once I pick it up), the hunt for a M35 will begin...and then I will go to post 1 again. Great thread! I am down in Harrisburg.

    picking up a M105a2....tried calling and it never let me leave a vm. called GL and they were going to send an email asking them to call me. Its about 200 miles, dont want to chance just driving up and then not getting in......

    No doubt I will. I just found this board when I was searching for tires. I already downloaded the TM and am slowly sifting thru it for info.....a ton of stuff in there, well more like a ton and a half. :)
