Very difficult indeed, I tore one of mine up getting it out. I plugged up the holes, only a midget could drive using persiscopes w/the hatch closed on that thing.
*posted on the Eastern Block Vehicles forum also* All,
Looking to see if anyone has any USA-based solutions for replacement tires/wheels for Combloc wheeled armor w/13x18 tire/ Wheels, such as the BDRM and the vehicle I own, a yugo BOV M86. I bought the last 2 Soviet 13x18 42" Tires from CM...
Your photos could be swapped w/mine from when I restored mine, and I'd never know the difference! Great Job, taking the gunner's seat, and driver seat out makes access a whole lot easier, the toughest things to get to on this vehicle are the master cylinders and clutch pedal cylinders, they are...
All,
Looking to see if anyone has any USA-based solutions for replacement tires/wheels for Combloc wheeled armor w/13x18 tire/ Wheels, such as the BDRM and the vehicle I own, a yugo BOV M86. I bought the last 2 Soviet 13x18 42" Tires from CM Army Tires. So, now I only have a set of 2 when I...
Very nice driving vehicle, of all the armor over the years I've owned, that mowag was the most fun and easiest to drive in traffic and around town. Enjoy!
I've owned a lot of wheeled armor over the years and the roland was the easiest to drive, it was like a big Ferret but moved pretty fast and at highway speeds. Sold it about a year ago. Your shorland will look great in BB scheme. Lots of big flat sides to work with. Really like the shorland...
Finally got some of the major mechanical issues sorted, at least enough to drive around town today. Still have a lot of issues to resolve, several leaking air valves, a hole in one air tank, wiring harness issues, etc. Currently has a VIC-3 system, SINCGARS Radio and am in process of...
Hello All,
Bought a 88' Yugo BOV and really could use a technical manual or any manual for this vehicle. It runs but someone butchered the instrument panel and am having problems with the air brake system. Incidently, the TAM-110 truck is same running gear, engine and primary systems so would...

Oh, BTW, before I pull the valve, where do I get a replacement? is that something that I can order at NAPA?
TIA,
Austin
Hello,
LMTV M1078: When I apply the brakes, I have air releasing through this bleed? valve cap. Hoping not to re-invent the wheel, does this mean this entire valve is failing? or ????? what would be the recommended fix? TIA,
Austin
I hard-wired some jumper wires to the big contacts on the relay on the driver passenger rail near the starter, got it warmed up where it wont start conventionally, then I jumped those 2 wires and she fired right up. So, what does that tell me?
TIA,
Austin
