HMMWV impounded
Took my GP HMMWV to the CHP for a vin verification this morning. The Vin# came back "truck stolen from Fort Irwin". Thank God we are good standing Citizens in the community, or we would of all be arrested, and thrown in jail till the Government send their release paper work to the CHP. HMMWV is... -

M923 on fire
My M923 caught on fire yesterday all on its own. foul play? rats? what do you think? truck sat at the same spot for over 3 month. looks like fire originated from the battery compartment, PCB blew up.- 63foxtrot

AZ will not title HMMWVs as of today
I went to ADOT at lake havasu AZ today to title my HMMWV for the road. They said, they got serveral inter dept. memos today from the main office not to register or title Military HMMWVs anymore as of today. she said the memo stated HMMWVs are not safe for the road, does not meet DOT standards...
