    Any idea what the transmission is? Will in not bolt up and work at all? If I am already dealing with a soup sandwich I am not all that concerned about it being"correct" as long as I can get it to work. Unless... I can find a better option for $100. That is how much he wants with transfer case.

    I just picked up this M38 last week. It has a flat head and no tranny. A friend of mine happens to have one. But, I am not sure if it will work. Sorry for the bad photographs. It is tucked away and difficult to get to.

    I wish i got a photograph of them before I posted. I am trying to locate the OE style. They are square nuts with a metal piece that hold them in place.
