With the new house and also was out for 30 days fighting wildfires here in Oregon and went to California. I had no time for anything else I wanted to do/get done. Hopefully this next year.
So this project may have become a little more interesting with finding this video today.

I wish I would have seen this a couple of months ago, when there was a local guy on Craigslist selling a M211 rolling chassis for really cheap. 6x6 with 6 wheel steering is...
I don't know how I missed this thread. We started collecting 3 m211's to do the same thing. Going to keep one stock, but the other two will become a crew cab. Lot of other mods planned for it, but I have to say yours turned out sweet.
It's been a wet winter out here, really wet. Unfortunately we don't have a shop to work in. So there really is only a 4-5 month window to work on stuff and this all started at the tail end of that window. I am sure this summer we will make more progress on this project. We had the idea of...
No progress on the other rig. The only real place to work on the rig is outside. The rains have set in so we will have to wait for nice weather to get back at it. When I was painting "Onslaught" I was able to do that in the hay barn where a few hours here and there wouldn't impact the...
Just found a link to a YouTube video from the holiday light parade. 24 minutes long, but the rig is towards the front of the parade right after the fire engines at the 3:30 mark.

So since the parade is over, things have calmed down and back to working on the house finishing up projects to get it up for sale. For Christmas thought some one was getting me a hand gun, but turned out to be a new used intake and exhaust manifolds for "Onslaught" so hopefully this will take...
Made a a stencil of the decepticon logo. All loaded up for the holiday light parade tomorrow night, gonna get wet hanging lights on it tomorrow, but it will be fun.
So while surfing eBay last night I came across this beast. Other than being a lot newer, this is pretty close to what I have been envisioning for the quadra deuce, other than this one is bobbed.
Spent the majority of the day yesterday swapping tires and wheels between two trucks as the tires on one where better than the ones that are on the drive able truck. Needless to say I am pretty sore today.
Pulled the intake and exhaust manifold to install new gaskets in hopes to resolve the intake and exhaust leaks. Was hoping to get it all buttoned up today, but that didn't happen. Ended up rigging it up for some machining. The previous owner tried to fix the cracked manifold and in that lies...

The stack will be getting a coat or two of the high temp BBQ black paint.
And a pic of my son who begged again to do some more painting. So he had the gas tank all to himself.
Pulled out "Onslaught" this afternoon to tweak the front bumper back the best we could without applying heat to it
And the instagram edit
Still have the roof, hood, grill, bumper and gas tank to paint, then it's intake and exhaust gaskets, extend the stack and swap the tires and wheels...
Got a little more painting done. Just have the hood, grill, roof and around the windshield left.
For some reason it uploaded the pictures in the reverse order.
in talking with my son (the one painting) that it would be cool to put a decepticon emblem on the grill and he proceeds to tell me...
