    need some deuce winshield glass

I'll ditto the glass shop. I redid the frames on my Deuce, it was actually pretty easy. Also allowed me to clean out some of that Michigan Rust that I'm sure you've got, too... ;)

Well, any news? Website says "Early 2009," you say January. It's now June. :) I'm really hoping these start taking off, I'd really like this setup, but no deniro right now. Does me no good if he's not making them anymore when I finally have the $$$$.... :-P

    Wiper arm upgrade

Just did the wiper arm upgrade on my Deuce. Just thought I'd mention, the guy at NAPA said the 60-750 kit is on it's way out... dunno if there's gonna be a replacement for it. So if you're thinking about doing it, now would be the time! :D I haven't tried mine out yet, but just looking at it...

    Reparing vacuum wipers

Yup, my mistake, air pressure not vacuum... But anyway, I'll do what I can for pics and what not when I get the chance. The problem with these things is definitely in the "lubrication" department. The unfortunate thing is with a little bit better engineering, they could have made that...

    Reparing vacuum wipers

Hey all, Recently I've had a problem with one of my wipers. When you turn it on, it goes one direction, then stays there, won't go the other. So I delved into the problem, and found a solution for it. It's a problem with the valve at the end where the hoses attach. Unfortunately it's not...

Testing, cleaning and repairing light multiswitch

Fooey. Well, long story short, I still have the file, but I can't get to it quite yet. I'm on leave right now, in the process of moving from Oklahoma to Japan via Michigan! Anyway, the file is on the hard drive of my computer, which I packed in my luggage (didn't trust all the valuable...

Testing, cleaning and repairing light multiswitch

Hey folks. Sorry it went missing. I haven't been around in a while - me and my deuce have been physically separated for a while (I was in OK, Deuce was in storage in MI). Anyway I'll try to dig it back up and get it fixed.

No turn signals or brake lights - STILL

Well it appears the culprit has been found - and that my first assumption that the signal unit just died may not have been wrong. After a bunch of troubleshooting, I tracked the short down to the turn signal switch. Opened it up and viola! It wasn't hard to see - a wire pinched in the case...

No turn signals or brake lights - STILL

Thanks, but already have a new one on the way. Did what I SHOULD have done before I hooked the new one up, and plugged my little cheapie radio shack multi-tester up to the flasher unit plug. Hit the left side - 2A. Ok. Hit the right side.... went off the scale at 20A.... Now comes the...

No turn signals or brake lights - STILL

SUCC.... CRAP!!!!! Got my new flasher unit from Saturn Surplus (great dealing with them as always). Plugged it in, turned on the left turn signal, flash flash flash, awesome. Turn on the right turn signal.... funny noise... funny smell... flasher unit is very warm and now instead of A broken...

    Interesting brake problem/ resolution.

I'm a big fan of PB Blaster for penetrating lube, but I'm willing to try other stuff out if I think it will work better! This "Spray from God" sounds interesting.... ;) As for Simple Green - a big X2 on that one, GREAT stuff!!!

"GREAT LIST " for picking up your Deuce!

Personal tip here for something not only when picking up your Deuce, but to just keep handy all the time. Just learned this one today. Keep a small (2-3 inches) chunk of 14-16 gauge wire with the ends stripped off, and some electrical tape, handy. The flasher units located on the inside...

No turn signals or brake lights - STILL

SUCESS!! I was thinking, and it stood to reason that if I shorted B & A together, then flipping the turn signal switch would result in the appropriate signals being solid on. I gave it a shot and it worked! Brake lights, too! So now I know for sure what the problem is. I also have a nice...
