Just reversed what I did to take the rear curtain off, and used some heavy duty all weather sealant ( 3M 5200 Marine Sealant ) on all the metal to metal surfaces.
Thank you! I am going to use some of that thick insulation to waterproof/windproof below the window. Buy if it doesn't work, I will throw that bottom piece on there.
I got it figured out....but because I don't have the second roof, there's nothing to bolt the outer to pieces of frame to. Looks and works good for what I am doing. THANK you brother!
Thank you very much for the help. I got a good deal on brand new crated IBIS TEK Hmwv widow set for $2000, an the framing from Austin (Beltfed) for $900. Will post some picks in Texas Humvee on FB when I am done with the build.
I had called GovPlanet and spoke with the titles/SF97 dept. They Emailed me a form that allowed me to pretty much fill in all the SF 97 info, including the year model. Where in Texas are you?
Just make sure your using the right gasket...there's two types that go around the rear hatches. One is for the thick aluminum and the other is a thinner steel.
Removed all bolts, inset screws, and cut all the seals we could see to remove the rear wall, but rear wall not budging. Do we need to take off the entire top to get the rear wall off? Installing slant back. Thank you.
