Hi I just purchased an air activated PacBrake specifically for 3116 CAT, as I have a 1997 LMTV M1078. However this was for the Kodiak top kick. I'm trying to figure out what do I have to do for the WTEC II trans 3070SP? Is there any special pin-out to tie into the trans controller to let the...
I do know from my line of work as an auto dealer I too own an m1078 and have already confirmed Vehicle inspection will be needed but if you keep your truck "as is" the weight fees will kill you annually. $1000 bucks. If you convert to a RV it has to be already done and permanent in nature. And...
Well we officially have brakes now on my truck. It was a heck of a time to figure out. It was a combination of three things. Lines were crossed in dash and switched there as well as they were hooked up wrong in rear and a regulator was bad in the rear. Had to compare these to another rig to...
Doghead. Thanks for help. Maybe you could elaborate on attaching pictures using tapatalk. It only allows picture link. Obviously a full blown desktop computer version probably will have the options you mention. Please advise.

Ok we spent some time at my shop messing with my truck. It appears that right rear forward brake chamber is leaking air. You can hear it bleeding out with park brake enabled. Also some genius appears to have broken the key on the inside of the brake chamber probably in an attempt to release the...
NDT thanks for intel. Im having truck towed back to my shop I never usually let people work on my things but figured that this may have been over our head. Now I see I can't trust anyone but myself. I will get the truck back and then I can succinctly document what is and isn't working and what...
Diesel you are correct I think it may be both. Parking brakes not engaging and rear shoes are stuck. They are not stuck so bad the truck wont move they are obviously dragging. I'm learning these systems and wonder if that air valve in front behind bumper has anything to do with these issues...
Ok guys just got done driving my truck for the first time. Unfortunately it's not good news. These knuckleheads said they fixed everything. They obviously don't know what they are doing. My parking brakes still are not working. I tried draining all the air and truck is still hard to move. With...
This was my thoughts exactly I've had the truck already at a big rig shop and they have no clue. I'm almost thinking to drive it back to our normal auto repair shop where I work to let my guys try and figure it out since the big rig guys don't seem to know what the heck they are doing. I still...
I have unblocked both front and rear gladhands red and blue. Still no **** parking brakes. I'm going to mess with it tomorrow and try draining all the air out of the system to see if that does anything.

NDT when you say all air drained you mean both front and rear brakes? Truck will roll anytime unless wheels are chalked or physically pressing the brake pedal.

Suprman I understand your skepticism on mileage. Who knows. I tried checking both front gladhands with park brake and hitting brakes no air released from gladhands only from vent behind front bumper. Shows good air pressure above 120 for both
