    Humvee M1152 ac problem

My guess is a short circuit in the system or a weak breaker. The guage surge ??? more likely a dip in voltage, is my 2nd guess. The click could be the self-resting breaker behind the dash. All guessed out. Saving the third one for after the commercial, CAMO 📺

    Glow Plug Replacement

Trying to get an air hammer to line up with a glow plug in a HumV... Not going to happen IMO. :hammer: What I have been reading lately... Jack hammer the whole engine out. Knock yourself out, CAMO (not personally directed, guess it's worth a try?)

The same glow plug constantly roasting mystery..

Here's the easy story book on the above pages. Might be a bit easier on the eyes 👀 has some electrical in it too. https://gear-report.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/HMMWV%20A1%20Troubleshooting.pdf This thread is a doozie. I am waiting for the boogieman 👻with a little hammer :hammer:to jump...

    Highway Cruising Speed

The days when I had the M37, I drove with what was coming up in the rear view mirror. Never had to worry out the windshield. LOL Everyone gets a brake check. 🛑 Hurry up the giddy up, CAMO

    Installing Antenna tip

I have seen the plastic tear drop tips on fiberglass and steel all wrapped in tape to keep them on and last longer. I get they look cool, nice and shinny... till it gets sun baked or wracked to pieces. Best to have the right tip for the whip size too. Military has tips, all others balls, CAMO

    Installing Antenna tip

Tip of the day, on the antenna tip... follow down the yellow brick road to page 30 and try not to get lost. http://psmag.radionerds.com/images/9/90/PS_Magazine_Issue_561_August_1999.pdf Wizard of radio, CAMO

Wait light not coming on - but starts (2006 M1097R1)

That yellow box looks just like the Camoteksystems control box tester. Or could it be a submarine? CAMO

OUT AND ABOUT WITH MY HMMWV

That's what I tell them too... "Hook it on the part you want to come out" LOL CAMO

    Installing Antenna tip

Put the tip on and like a mad man, wrap it with tape like there is no end to the spool. That's a wrap, CAMO

    Voltage Issue With Head Lights

I am not confused... Too, Just not the boots, hands and eyes on the problem. Thumb back thru this / these threads a couple years might help. History seem to repeat itself on a HumV, LOL Remote control robot driven over the interweb, CAMO

“I thought somebody was BBQing” / New 2006 M1097R1 owner looking for direction for an electrical issue.

HEADS-UP to 3x wires on 1097R1 trucks from GL looking to ground the alternator. Seems some experts have connected it to the IGN sense on top of the 5A x wire. This is a FIRE and a TOASTED controller the instant one goes from STOP to RUN. This picture is as received from GL... And YES it...

    Voltage Issue With Head Lights

?? Ground is ground. It does not work with any switch Hi/LO or the main. All hood #91xx primary and #92xx secondary are grounds spliced together in the hood harness. They terminate at the hood connector Pin E. then on the other side, to the #91xx to 79xx and on to the body ground tie point...

    FARMVEE

There is a good chance your design will work (y) with the dual voltage alternator. May need to simply wire up the 12-14 volt feed . To better understand the operation... What is the current draw of the 12 volt motor and any other 12 volt loads. Bombs away to the farm critters 🐐🐷🐔🐄 CAMO

    Facebook Seller

As I stated in my previous post of scammer and hackers, my company had the same internet bad AH actors. They grab your pictures, your good name, make a sale and then you get a call for someone you NEVER have record of looking for what they think they bought. Very disheartening when trying to...

    Facebook Seller

Watch OUT for this one... Scam site sells everything, Tooth brushes, TV's, toasters, and there's even a section / category "military surplus" In there you will find WHAT LOOK's just like the product's of well known dealers with pictures and company names or logo captured off their site... at...

    M1114 project

Squirt a test spot give it a week and judge the outcome 🎨(y)(n) There are flattening agents to tame the gloss down. Shooting the whole rig might be like a shot to the foot. When all done might be hard to walk away from, CAMO

    Electrical Kill Switch

YEP... IMO better to get a quality switch. Don't need a cheap, plastic parts or a spring... thank you amazon, in a HumV. Double up on the contacts, use ring and screws terminals with proper crimp & solder, 12 ga wire, Packard connectors maybe slap on some liquid tape ? Hide it, Plug and Play...

    Electrical Kill Switch

Your are on the right track. (y) 11A is an easy way to go. Since your not switching under load, the military specification STOP-RUN-START switch is doing the heavy switching. ((not a chineezze knock-off) Secret switch contacts need to handle 11A load / circuit. See my attachment for the poop...

Is there a way to run Optima batteries in the HMMWV?

Not to be that guy... BUT the hold down bracket is close to becoming a fireworks display in the picture above. A big bump and sparks could fly. That Guy, CAMO
