419 SEE front loader troubleshooting advice needed

sounds like a loose connection at the hoses front left. Check that those are tight. The balls in the quick connects can act like check valves if loose.

    Hydraulic Cooling fan motor question

It's possible to repair them. I just did as luck would have it. The motor had water intrusion and the rust seized it. No electrical damage so I disassembled and cleaned, repainted the insides, replaced the bearings just because I could (easy cause of an electric motor shop locally but they...

Just my .02 about LED bulbs. They are not worth the trouble or money in low power indicator type circuits. Instrument cluster and the like. The standard incandescent are really durable and last a very long time. My experience with led ba9 and ba7 and 194s and such is they flicker and stop...

Using my SEE for real work

Yes, same as the bucket and loader teeth. Extremely standard JD pattern if I remember right. It's installed upside down, but I figured I'd try it that way first. Pretty minor angle difference, don't think it matters much.

Using my SEE for real work

This thread has been quiet. Not sure if any of you received a ripper tooth with your SEE but I did. I had not used it until this most recent project. About 750 feet of 5 foot deep trench for utilities in quite rocky soil as it turned out. the digging was pretty slow until I installed the tooth...

While we're on the subject of self lifting and hydraulic connectors and what not, does anyone know the name of the quick disconnect style for the backhoe on a SEE? Its a -14 jic which is strange enough but the QD variety is new to me? Disregard, I'm going to just find an easy available. Quick...

I don’t know. If you want to ship it there, you should contact some shipping people‘s and get a quote, I’ll help load it, but I have too many irons in the fire to do that legwork for you. Sorry.

It's been off for a couple years. Don't need the extra weight. When something falls from the sky whilst I'm sitting in it, I'll take it as a sign. Looks better without also.

    FLU419 Front loader

My advice... screw the pressure relief in until you can lift the front off the ground. I've been using mine like that for three years. Also get rid of those check valves mentioned, totally counterproductive. Sometimes I have to back off the controls when I get belt squeal on the pump, but...

Also on searching; If you type the search term then "site:www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/flu419-see-hmmh-hme-owners-group.115476" (which is this thread url, results from the relevant pages will show up. Works pretty well just from your normal address bar. I use DuckDuckgo but the syntax is...

Where to find a dozer blade?

One word of caution. The geometry of the schmidt loader is such that pushing things with it collapses the lift rams and lifts the front of the SEE. Doesn't work super great unless the stuff you're pushing is snow.

    Broken Belt Replacement

I have replaced all those belts without doing anything but taking off the skid plate. Just go over the fan and loosen the alt tension.

Location of certain FLU 419 electrical components

warning light sending unit is located on the side of the heater / blower in my SEE. Switch is the big red button, relay... no idea.

419 front hyd pump fitting needed

If memory servs it's a smallish code 61. Any hydro shop should have or be able to get it. Get the hose off (or cut both end fittings off), get some calipers and start measuring. Gates has an ok web interface, there's probably a good shop within a phone call distance that could walk you...
