How do you move your generator(s)?

Kubota with forks works well up to 803A. Any more weight than that and my hydraulics stall out

    Mep-803a vibration

I had an 803 that had a vibration in it. It was just as bad as an 802 while running. Guyfang suggested pulling the stator, unbolting the rotor from the flywheel, and turning the rotor halfway around before reinstalling the bolts. This did not completely fix the problem, but it did bring it...

    803 fuel filler rubber gasket

Also, not real sure that the Ferco is PVC. I pulled the cover and inspected it the other night. It looks and feels like solid rubber even now after having it installed for several years now. I know some of the box store stuff may be different though. Silicone is not supposed to be used on...

    803 fuel filler rubber gasket

Ok-just looked like the same thing. I can report after having the one I used on a trailer mounted genset for several years now that there is no issues with it. I've taken it all over to job sites for portable power and no leaks or breakdown in material. It is a cheap fix that needs no...

I have the 5 ton tm but not the 3. I will take you up on that! What's the easiest way? Provide my email?

    803A on 3 phase

NSN: 4120-01-581-1276 3 ton unit I'm looking for the TM in my files.

    803A on 3 phase

I'm looking to run the heater portion on single phase 240v coming in off the road. Not wanting to run the genset for heat

    803A on 3 phase

Take a chance and just go 240v single phase to 240v 3 phase?

    803A on 3 phase

I can get a phase convertor local here pretty cheap that will 240v single to 208v wye. Just wanted to make sure it would work. I may also look at losing some of the heating elements and hooking up to 240v single phase, but I'd probably have to change the fan motor to make that work.

    803A on 3 phase

Going to attempt to run 3 ton military AC/heat unit for some heat in the shop. The nameplates on those aren't really helpful in that respect. I think the heating elements would have no issue. Not sure about the motor for the fan and any controls though.

    803A on 3 phase

I am sure this information is out there someplace. I haven't found it yet though. Does anyone know for sure when on 208V are they producing on wye or delta? Reason I am asking is I have several of the 3 ton heat/ac units and am thinking about using a phase convertor to power one for supplemental...

    Dual MEP803a Power Plant Trailer

I cut one off a single 803 trailer and welded an adjustable channel on in its place. I can change from pintle style to ball by removing two bolts

    Trouble with the 3k inverter

I have found if you unplug the wire harness on the side of the inverter you can start the unit and run it. The heat from the engine will dry out the moisture in 5 minutes or so. Shut the unit down, plug harness back in, and start unit as normal for operation with no fault lights.

    Posible MEP-803A Cable Chafing

I second the Kubota. I have used and abused mine and never once has it let me down

New Potential Owners - Generator Model Numbers ARE Important!

My set I kept as my primary machine was the same way. Only had 6 hours on it and paperwork inside showed it was never in the field. I went through it and replaced all the usual items like fuel lines and wrapped wires that like to get rubbed through and it fired right up. That was back when GL...
