Occasionally they pop up in auctions decent tires. Couple years back I picked up 8 tires out of Chambersburg. They were in good shape or nearly new. All held air and were on rims. Probably cost me about $125 per tire back then.
Eastern Surplus might be the closest place to get them to us. If...
I found this page which I am pretty sure you have read. Might be of help however.
These guys are selling one with an "R" suffix. Not sure if that makes a difference. They might know. Expensive.
DavyBoySmith might still sell these 2 missing seals? Still active on the site.
I went too fast and did not read well. You are looking for M135 airpack? What I have posted below may not work for you then. My apologies.
Everybody seems to have the repair kit for the long style air pack. Supporting vendor link here.
If you have the short version it seems you are SOL. I do...
I bought the brake line fittings from here: http://www.fedhillusa.com/
Also added a remote reservoir which has a tube connecting to that 1/8 npt on top of the cap.
OEM should be a fitting on top of the cap that connects to the fuel line vent. This runs to a tee somewhere around under the trans...
They stretch and twist these trucks pretty harshly in every test I have seen. I find it odd that you would be having this problem and it relating to the linkage moving. I tend to agree with NDT here unfortunately. Something is likely wrong with the clutch unless it's history is known to you.
I bought a truck that looked a lot like yours from the bottom. I spent a lot of time and did all of the following. I barely have any leaks now.
- Axle seals all around,
- Pinion seals
- Transmission output seal
- Transfer case input & output seal
- Ran vent lines from axles to firewall
-...
I paid for Fusion 360 full licenses here at work $490.00 a year. It is a good program for modeling and if you can use the CAM to program CNC its the cats ass. Downside is it runs in the cloud...not good for sensitive stuff. Hard to beat for the price. Looks like MasterCAM. Easier to work with...
I never thought of it before but if the truck runs you have air anywhere. I did buy a gladhand adapter...
Can you bleed the system with air in the tanks?
I think I used 1/4" flexible plastic line to attach to the bleeders. They might measure 1/4"
You do not need much for the air supply to pressure bleed. I just made mine up with a quick disconnect fitting to my normal shop airline. 1/4" I believe.
Depending on the location I sometimes have luck with ACE. Otherwise I am stuck ordering from McMaster.
But you are right. Hard to find things on the shelf these days and people behind the counter to help you with what you can't find yourself.
