I’ve not gotten ahold of aluminum wheels yet. As it stands I don’t think it would work without modification of the attachment bolts. They are long and bottom out in the lug on my steel rims just as the protectors make contact.

Originally I had planned to do this myself, but looking at the work decided to have Bryce W do the gears on my truck. It is by far the best upgrade. I noticed that it is quieter, rpms come down to a reasonable range at 55-60 mph (where I cruise) and temperatures are lower. Perhaps the 3116 (A0)...

So the lug nuts on the left side of the truck loosen by turning to the right? How can I tell which ones loosen which direction?

Also interested if someone has a guide for an a0 tach install. Surprising more don’t know how to accomplish this.

@Ohiobenz I noticed that you had produced some steel grilles for LMTVs. Are you capable of producing these? Line out the door for buyers.

@Floridianson is correct. I just got drivelines back from complete ($2077.) rebuild, new splines, new u joints, balanced, everything. Vibration persists though it did help. I did have a question about ring gear lash: if I pull the pumpkin and want to tighten it can I measure with a feeler gauge...

I like the direct gear lash measurement of Steve's method, it would seem that is the more accurate way. That being said, I wish we had better guidance on the lash setting. .010-.020 is a lot of tolerance for something that is supposed to be precise. Has anyone been skilled enough to get an LMTV...
