    High water/Fire Department M925A2

I talked to a sergeant when we bought the truck. He said the air filter is water tight and CBRN tight as long as it is sealed properly. But again..... One of my idiots could be messing around and open it accidentally lol.

    High water/Fire Department M925A2

Couple of questions: Has anyone seen a red or black cargo cover? i have been attempting to read up on this electrical "slave" thing. What I have gotten so far is that you can jump your truck or another truck. Is there anymore to this? All of the lights on the CTIS option panel are flashing...

    High water/Fire Department M925A2

I know. I just hate to see such a fine piece of equipment destroyed. Especially one which has served our country and now it's citizens. But in the end everything is disposable. We lost out 850,000 tower ladder during Sandy.

    High water/Fire Department M925A2

Unfortunately like previously stated this truck was given to us by the federal government and we are not allowed to sell it. We must put it in use and remain in use for 1 year. I am going to have our mechanic take a look at the CTIS. thanks guys

I don't have the truck yet. I assume they were sitting in the yard of the national guard for a decent amount of time. Maybe a week or more.

    High water/Fire Department M925A2

The sergeant that was showing us the truck had nothing but bad thing to say about it. He said "someone sold the army a load of crap". Lol. all the tired on the truck were flat from the system, he said it was a common occurrence with the CTIS

Is the CTIS system the tire deflation/inflation system?

    High water/Fire Department M925A2

Yeah we would immediately send it out to our mechanic to get it checked and serviced. Is there anything we should have replaced? I know the military is good at keeping their equipment services but as we all know sometimes we have a budget and need to keep things low priced. I'm looking to...

    High water/Fire Department M925A2

I can't figure out how to post pictures. we aren't looking to go in any water if we don't have to. With that being said as I'm sure most of you guys know you come upon situations that you must do things you don't want/didn't plan on doing. We are attempting to set this up for worse case...

    High water/Fire Department M925A2

Found a high water fording kit on the eastern supply website. I unfortunately didn't know about the ABS issue and didn't look to see if it had it. I was told by the sergeant the truck was overhauled in 2010 so i would assume it was added (I don't assume anything anymore)

I don't recall seeing a handle like the one your speaking of. Where could I purchase this kit from? Also, do you think this truck has ABS?

    High water/Fire Department M925A2

I unfortunately don't have pictures of the dash. The truck was used by the New Jersey national guard. The air intake and exhaust was up high. The air filter is water tight and CBRN. I believe the sergeant showing us the vehicle said it had the high water fording kit. What are the telltale...

    High water/Fire Department M925A2

My Fire Department has recently acquired a M925A2 vehicle with high water capability. Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. The vehicle seems to be in very good shape. We will not be using this truck for rural firefighting. This truck will be mostly used for water...
