If they stick with the norm (except for last year), I'm thinking it will be on the second weekend (April 8-10). Sounds like tacticalmike can be the contact with Jim? I'll try to help promote again this year, but for some reason my free time is dwindling away - I have barely even been checking on...
Nothing on their calendar yet Mike (big surprise - it would probably be the wrong date if it was, lol). Maybe Pat or Rich will be dropping by Jim Henry's shop sometime soon and get the low down from him? I still have to rebuild the engine on my 'a1 and finish the trailer. Working on my new (to...
Yeah, I hate that you misdeed this one Mike! The convoy and bbq, along with the great weather made it a pretty good one. A few more attendees and vendors would've been nice, but now I have money to spend in GA.
I would also like to thank everyone that took video and pics - it's a LOT more interesting to everyone that wasn't there when they can see the fun! My phone wasn't charging right, so I didn't take a single pic. This is my favorite though - you couldn't bear that smile off my face! I held it...
That's me - thanks! It is an M35a2 Sport model - fun to drive and gets a LOT of attention. I almost drove it to Georgia last year with the M38a1 in tow, but ended up only attending 1 night of the rally. Since things have changed and I will have to take vacation for Georgia this year, I will prob...
Excellent show - still a little small, but we're getting there! With activities like the convoy/bbq, and maybe an organized and led trail ride, I don't see any reason for it NOT to grow over the next few years. I think the rain forecast kept attendance down this year, although the weather turned...
Got home in 2hrs flat - white knuckle, 50-60mph all the way. Rained off and on until I got to Monroe, when it started coming down a LOT harder. I got to Lancaster and the bottom dropped out! I guess I am glad that I only had 15 miles to drive in that! Did I mention that I HATE driving in the...
GREEAATT! Maybe it will be clear and dry out. I stopped and bought a tarp to put over the tent in the back of the deuce just in case. Planning on getting up at the buttcrack of dawn to load the tires/wheels and dry goods.I plan on leaving by 9. 2.5hr drive to Lexington to drop off tires, then 25...
I think Pat said he had that covered.
Deuce brakes bled, new 7 pin plug on it and trailer lights working correctly now, PMs done. She still needs a bath, boot changed and load the tires in the back. Jeep still needs brakes bled and a bath. Getting closer!
Edit: Have to adjust the trailer...
Yeah, that will be a decent convoy - I'm sure a few people will pull over to watch. I'll be driving the deuce.
My list isn't anywhere near as bad as CBR's. Mostly just checking stuff out. I have to bleed the brakes (on the deuce and Jeep), change driver side boot, rotate a couple of tires to...
