Put me down for chow. Tentative plan is to show up Friday late morning w/M944/M1061 and Kermit da Mog.

I don't plan on moving the M944 once I get there If you com guys want to put a stinger on top of the flag pole M944 makes a great ground plane. also plan on bringing the tenting.

Going to bring a lined pocket book like my grandmother used to do. She would go to church supers and fill it up.

Well because of all the issues I have with my Truck coming back from the Florida MVPA rally I don't think I will be making this one. Not 100% sure yet but not looking good!

My list of things to do is getting shorter, but is still plenty long!

1: Knock off sharp edges with grinder on the MTO20 trailer an touch up paint
2: Install lights on my MTO20 trailer (started this today) and wire the trailer I stripped ALL wiring and lights off of it because it had a LOT)
3: Install trailer plug on M920
4: clean out S280 and build a place inside it to sleep. It is very musty inside but I think it will be fine once the a/c is running and it is cleaned up.

Luckily, the M920 is running STRONG since I got the AirDog fuel pump working on it, I think it would make a trip across the country and back. Worst case scenario I won't have the trailer ready to bring, but I think I should be able to get it all done as long as the weather stays nice.

Pat, can't wait for the BBQ, I'll bring a large to-go cooler so I can have lunch on Saturday too! I can't wait for the convoy!

For the bbq convoy, it will just be me and my truck. My g/f will have to work that Friday. I'll pretend it wasn't all that fun so she won't be as mad ;-)

Anyone on those name tags so we can I'd each other?
I think Pat said he had that covered.

Deuce brakes bled, new 7 pin plug on it and trailer lights working correctly now, PMs done. She still needs a bath, boot changed and load the tires in the back. Jeep still needs brakes bled and a bath. Getting closer!

Edit: Have to adjust the trailer brakes too. I installed an electric brake controller along with the 12v system a month or so ago for a little more comfortable (and safe) drive to the rally.

Thanks Butch for going with me to recover my new trailer. I had a blast. I was like a kid in a candy store and when the man let us drive hummers around the yard that just made my day. I may have to get one now someday lol

Fuel lines are reinstalled, think the fuel filter (inline aftermarket) is clogging up causing a gradual loss of power. going to replace next week (or tomorrow). if nothing else, it will get on and off the trailer under it's own power! The Carb rebuild was successful (thanks wilson off road, fayetteville, nc).

So who showed up at Denton today? Black bus towing a jeep on a trailer? I was taking a class, and saw you thru the door.

Hate to report that I have had a work conflict come up and will not be able to attend the gathering this year.
Unfortunately, this also means that I will not be cooking for folks at my MKT...

Sorry for the late notice, I just found out about this at our staff meeting on Friday.
(and yes, I am VERY unhappy with my boss right now...).
