Where would the frame serial # be located exactly? I don't have a photo of it obviously, but could ask. Per # on the hood, it did start out as M13, would the frame serial # be identical to the # on the hood?

I think the rules have just changed. If it was made before 1956 (I may be wrong on the date), the prohibition has been lifted. At least that's what I've been told. I am still searching for the actual regulation or documentation.
