    because I don"t have the "right" bar to fit in my jackshaft u-joint to rotate and there is no clearance for the pipe wrench jaws to fit around the u-joint AND this is the big one... my 13yo son understood what I meant when I said turn THIS shaft with THIS wrench!

    Yes, it is part of the timing. Easy way to turn it I found is to jack up the driver side rear tires, trans in fifth and big pipe wrench on the drive shaft. My 13 yo son was under the truck turning the shaft & I was watching for the half moon cutout on the quill shaft. And you are going to need...

    Pull the hydraulic head & check the shaft... mine died last month and found the problem was a damaged hh shaft. Would not start without gas or SF, only run 2000 rpm & higher & would not idle. I imported some chicom heads and it runs fine now. Still have a few left if anyone is looking, comes...
