    The jeep is about 60 years too new and 1600 lbs too heavy, but it will do for now. I'll be changing how the pintle is bolted to the draw bar to level out the tongue.

    4'-5'? ;-) Wow, you must be a fisherman. According to MS 500069 the center of an M416 lunette is 31" from the front wall of the tub. The center of this one is 28.5" from the front wall of the tub. Close enough for my budget (the only thing I bought was new grade 8 hardware.

    I unbolted the left front spring hanger and uncovered the ACM number stamped into the frame. It appears to read 41030 (but the "1" is inverted)

    I mocked up my completely incorrect, but bolt in lunette/mount. The lower mount is 1/4" plate (just tacked together for now), and the upper mount/lunette is from one of the small shelter dollies.

    after doing a little more digging I have found the axle does not indicate Willys, so now I am thinking it was built by bantam.

    the mbt/t3 parking brake lever has that "button" instead of a "trigger" like the newer trailers, and the m100 had grab handles on all four corners (there is no signof them on this trailer.

    I am unsure it it is a willys or bantam (no data plates), but the axle is willys so I am leaning that direction. Safety second, check ot the lugs
