    This suggestion seemed too basic to me but I just read on dieselplace.com where a member removed a 305 gas and dropped in a 6.2 and the crossover bolted right up.

    Many reasons. Mainly because the exhaust system is one of the more vulnerable component underneath the truck during off-road tactical procedures. :) I want to keep the system as simple as possible and tucked up out of the way without worrying about a pair of mufflers and a bunch of piping...

    Thanks for the input guys. I'm looking for ANY single exhaust crossover that will fit my m1008. I should have worded my original question better.

    Does anyone know if the crossover pipe from an 88-98 6.2 truck will fit an 86 M1008? I am interested in a single run exhaust system.
