The only unfortunate thing is she’s already gone. We sold it while building our house. But no mortgage is a great place. I’ve collected some other junk since so I’m going to be okay. If anybody is interested in the other junk we are up to i post on IG @toughcustomsgarage
Man that’s crazy. I basically started this thread before Instagram lol. This isn’t the 35m I built with the 3 rear axles “boboposite” the guy that owns it now bobbed it... It will have tandem tears. It will be a pretty cool truck when we finish it.
Wellll here we go. After five years it’s finally time. The pass through hole is cut And flanged for a gasket. The back of the cab and the front of the sleeper are painted. Driver tank is plumbed and installed.
Here are a couple more pictures. I'll measure it this morning because I can't recall. It's looking like the spare tire rack will fit nicely behind the cab, this will even out the look of the tanks being a little longer. The tank brackets gave me a fit because of the transfer case mounts. The...
I installed the same filter TMG use on their kits. It is supposed to flow 950 cfm. When accelerating the truck still pulls the indicator all the way up, but it does not stay after letting off as it previously did. I'm not sure what this means but it seems like an improvement.
Any one know the cfm of the stock filter. I looked up the filter Those military guys are using with the kit and its 950. I'm just looking for a better filter option for the stock location. It pulls the indicator into red on first acceleration.
Yes stock turbo, I believe it's capable of more boost but egts limit how hard I can push it. I have done a mod to the air intake that is the same concept of the kit from "those military guys". I'm going to most likely build a filter box under the hood and pipe in fresh air from the front of...
It makes about a 10-15 mph difference on any hill and flat ground it allows as much spreed as you'd like. I have it turned way up and you can still push it to high egts. I would like to find an air filter that will get more air to the motor. It pegs the filter guage every time I accelerate...
Thank y'all very much! The Lord blessed me with the ability. I'm thankful for it and do enjoy creating things! I am planning on making this truck pretty wild then selling it. If you would be interested in the truck I could finish it to your liking. Because it will be for sale. The current...
I had to relocate the power steering cooler. I moved and mounted it into the void in the hood behind the grill. I also had to reroute the hoses make a hole and sleeve the lower support.
I also got the hood back on, changed tires to XZL's, the front wheels are new and have less back spacing...
Here is one more picture the intercooler is mounted and all the boots and piping are starting to go together.
I may just mount headlights and turn signals on the truck as it is because it looks pretty tough...!
The plan for the tri axle deuce is to make it into a four door eventually. Here is one more picture of the intercooler, along with 2 others from using the other truck to move some stuff. The drive shaft was twisted off pulling a full shipping container. I had already moved 2 and this one had...
I believe an international but the truck I measured was in a large shop with trucks that are still in use. From there I asked some of the guys that worked there and the told me what engine it had. They also said cooler styles tend to go with engines even in different truck applications. I did...
