It is definitely heavy duty. I have given up hope of it going any faster. It's maxing out with the 46" tires on it. The title is just derived from the movie from 86, where the machines turn on the people!
Oh yeah we just have to figure out how to get in it... I did have to take the long bed fuel tank off. I replaced it with a short bed tank, it works with the larger tires and doesn't have a hole in it.
I wanted to add. That when I cut the rear concrete filled frame section off, I had a pallet under it on the ground. When it broke free it chopped the pallet in half. It has to be at least 1000lbs . Watch your toes!
It has the original 6.2. You could probably power it using a cordless drill, it has ridiculous gear reduction. It will do 20 mph or so. All of the research claimed the transfer case was in low range and was limited by sheet metal in the floor. So I figured I'll rework the shifter and get...
